DMKC Advisory Services is a fee-based SEC registered investment advisor providing investment management services to a broad range of clients. DMKC Advisory Services is owned by its parent company D.M. Kelly & Company, an independent Des Moines Iowa based brokerage firm.

DMKC Institutional Services was formed with the goal of providing institutions with the same exceptional services our retail customers experience. Having an in-house trading department allows us to obtain competitive bids for our clients and offer an accessible channel of dealer contacts.

Born in Baudette, Minnesota the youngest of four boys, David graduated from Lake of the Woods High School before earning a degree in Marketing Management from the College of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.

David accepted a position in the Des Moines office of Dain Bosworth (now RBC, Inc.) serving institutional clients and managing retirement accounts. David joined D.M. Kelly & Company in 1995 and currently serves as Investment Advisor & Branch Manager.

Leaning heavily on his northern Minnesota roots, David has helped coach two Des Moines youth hockey teams to Midwest League championships. He also spends time coaching youth basketball as well as playing hockey, golf and softball.

David and his wife Jennifer have a son and a daughter. They are active members of St. Augustin's parish in Des Moines and David serves on the board of Holy Family School. Together they enjoy playing golf and softball and volunteering their time to support Children and Families of Iowa, where Jennifer serves on the Foundation Board.
