Arnie Ripperger was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa and graduated from Dowling High School. He received a BS degree in business from Drake University and later an MBA from the University of Iowa.

Arnie began his career at Bankers Trust as a Management Trainee and was later acknowledged for his business acumen and promoted to the position of Vice President. Arnie’s interest in municipal securities led him to Ruan Securities where he worked for 23 years, ultimately obtaining the position of Vice President of Institutional Sales. In this position he was responsible for the firms municipal bond public sale underwriting.

In addition to having his Series 7, 24, 52, 63 Licenses, Arnie also is a Licensed Municipal Securities Principal with a Series 53 designation.

Arnie and his wife Diana have been married for 26 years and have two children, Allison and Michelle. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, attending his daughter’s volleyball games and playing golf.
