Daniel M. Kelly • President

Daniel M. Kelly was born in Miles City, Montana and graduated from Assumption Abbey High School in Richardton, North Dakota. He attended the College of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota and graduated in 1968. His first job was with First Bank Systems of Saint Paul as a personal banker. Dan joined Dain, Kallman & Quail in 1971 (now RBC Dain Rauscher), was promoted to branch manager in 1977 and managed the Central Iowa office for 20 years.

Dan started D.M. Kelly & Company in 1995 with the goal of acquiring the best securities inventory available for conservative, fixed-income investors in the Midwest. Since its inception, D.M. Kelly & Company investors have benefited from this vision while supporting the infrastructure of the local community through the purchasing of state and local municipal bonds.

Dan and his wife Mary have three children and two grandchildren. They enjoy traveling and are actively involved in supporting education and the arts in the Des Moines community.

Today, D.M. Kelly & Company is expanding its operations and increasing the number of financial services and products available to its customers. "I am grateful to all of the employees at D.M.
