D.M. Kelly & Company has grown to become one of Central Iowa’s largest brokerage firms specializing in fixed-income investments, offering clients an alternative to the prepackaged investment products that are commonly found at larger wirehouses.

DMKC Institutional Services was formed with the goal of providing institutions with the same exceptional services our retail customers experience. Having an in-house trading department allows us to obtain competitive bids for our clients and offer an accessible channel of dealer contacts.

Kellie Hirsch was born in Bridger, Montana the youngest of three children. Her parents still live in Bridger, and commute together 45 miles a day to work in Billings.

After graduating from Bridger High School, she attended Montana State University.  Kellie excelled in the business management program, finding the courses challenging and sparking her personal interest in finance.  While managing a full course load, she worked at First Citizens Bank as a teller and was later promoted to the marketing and commercial loan department.  Her hard work ethic and time management skills were rewarded when she graduated from Montana State Magna Cum Laude.

After working at First Citizens for seven years, Kellie accepted a position at Stockman Asset Management.  While at Stockman Asset Management she worked with Gary Lucas as an Investment Assistant.  When Gary started the Billings branch of DMKC Advisory Services, he knew that Kellie’s customer service skills would be a perfect fit.

“A smaller firm presents me the opportunity to use the skills I developed while working in the banking industry for almost 10 years,” said Kellie.  “I enjoy meeting new clients and learning about their specific needs.  Providing solutions and a level of customer service that clients don’t always expect is very rewarding.  This office environment allows me to use all of my organization and problem solving skills and see projects through to their completion.”

Kellie is certified by the Montana Officials Association as a high school volleyball referee and volunteers much of her free time refereeing games in the Billings area. Kellie also enjoys running, playing volleyball, reading and spending time with her dog Oaklie.
