Bart Aby was raised in Glendive, Montana and graduated from Dawson County High School. His father instilled a strong work ethic in Bart at an early age as he watched his father manage the family veterinarian practice that is still operational today.

Bart attended Carroll College in Helena, Montana and graduated in 1988 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He furthered his schooling by receiving a Master’s of Education from Montana State University. While attending MSU, Bart coached football for the Bobcats from 1989-1993.

Bart put his knowledge of the veterinarian business to work as a sales rep for Fort Dodge Animal Health. He earned several Presidential awards for his sales and customer service merits and was promoted to the position of Regional Manager. Bart found that his extensive travel schedule was not ideal once he and his wife Abby started their family. He accepted a position at Merck & Company and later Depuy Spine enabling him to stay closer to home.

Upon obtaining his Series 65 Investment Advisor license, Bart worked at Stockman Asset Management for almost four years as Marketing Director. While at Stockman, he worked alongside Gary Lucas, and appreciated the conservative investment approach that Gary and his team used while maintaining the highest level of customer service possible. Bart was excited when Gary approached him to join DMKC Advisory Services. As a lifetime Montanian, Bart was anxious to build upon the past business relationships he had developed throughout the state.

Bart and his wife Abby have a six-year-old son Eli and a four-year-old daughter Alyse. He is actively involved in his community as a board member of Big Brothers and Big Sisters, and still enjoys coaching and volunteering in the community.
